Jake McGrory MSc MRICS

Jake holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southampton and a Master’s degree with distinction in Real Estate Development from the University of Westminster. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), specialising in residential valuation and building surveying.

Jake grew up in London and began his career in property in 2010, qualifying with the RICS in 2014. His early roles involved high-volume valuation work for mainly Lender clients, as well as Home Buyer Reports and Building Surveys for the general public. ​He quickly began focusing on prime London property asset classes, undertaking a range of valuations including residual development appraisals, HMOs, portfolios, and new build valuations for clients such as specialist and bridging lenders, financial organisations and property funds.

Throughout his career thus far, Jake has maintained a strong focus on building surveying, and has completed many instructions involving complicated properties, such as listed buildings, non-traditional construction, and larger commercial properties.

Jake has extensive experience in property appraisal and general practice surveying, including Red Book valuations, lease extensions, party wall agreements/awards, expert witness assignments, insurance reinstatement cost assessments, and building defect reports.​
